Zauberfee Cleaning Services Limited is an introduction agency and does not employ any cleaners. We simply introduce domestic householders to the friendly independent cleaners on our database – the magical cleaning fairies!
We maintain an extensive database of independent cleaners who offer a high standard of bespoke domestic cleaning and ironing services. Services are flexible, you can choose between regular or one-off cleaning/and or ironing services and cleaning services for private landlords (e.g. Airbnb, holiday letting and short term or long term letting). The introduction service we offer is stress-free, simple and affordable; allowing you to easily switch dates, times, cleaners and to select holiday/sickness cover for your regular cleaner.
We aim to introduce you to cleaners who are professional, reliable, punctual and dedicated. We do this by following a standard procedure whereby we conduct a thorough interview with each cleaner, obtain proof of identity, proof of address, references and, if required, proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Clients subscribe to the introduction agency’s database for a minimum period of 3 months. After the minimum term ends, the agreement automatically extends on a monthly rolling basis and can be terminated by the client by giving one month’s advance written notice (notice to expire at the end of the month).

The role of the domestic householder
The client
Our clients are from a wide variety of backgrounds, many of whom work in the pressurised financial services industry but we also cater to the needs of messy students, first flat- or house-shares, busy families with sticky-fingered children and muddy-pawed pets, stressed professionals and happy pensioners – all of whom appreciate Zauberfee’s personal approach and bespoke introduction service.
Once you have selected your date, time and frequency slot, Zauberfee will introduce you to an available cleaning fairy. You will then be able to speak to the cleaner to assess whether they are suitable for your specific needs, and, if yes, agree your first cleaning and/or ironing appointment with them.
Your Zauberfee will need input – this is where you come in! Your cleaner will be employed by you directly, therefore, please ensure that you provide clear instructions and guidance to make sure you will get the optimum value out of your cleaning and/or ironing visits. Zauberfee’s “Domestic Cleaner” Task Sheet will assist you in compiling your cleaner’s duties.
Your Zauberfee is under your supervision and will use your cleaning and ironing products as well as your electrical appliances. You will schedule Zauberfee cleaning visits with your cleaning fairy directly. Cancellations and requests to reschedule a visit must be raised to the cleaner directly with at least 24 hours’ prior notice, otherwise the full price of the cleaning visit will be payable. As an employer, the client is responsible for keeping a record of the monthly hours worked by their cleaner. Zauberfee provides a “Monthly Time Sheet” which may assist you with this.
